Nothing from a brochure
Every recommendation comes from experience or a trusted contact met face to face.

A chartered accountant who spent years in banking and consulting, Nikita Thakkar gave every spare week of leave to the road. Yumora is that passion, now planned for you.
Yumora designs tailor-made journeys for travellers from India. Every route is drawn from scratch after a conversation, never taken off a shelf, and every journey is planned around your dates, your pace, the way you eat and the moments you care about.
We plan fifty-five destinations across Asia, India, Europe, Africa and the Pacific. Recommendations come from experience or from trusted contacts met face to face, and one planner holds your journey from the first message to the last evening.
Routes and timings chosen for comfort, then booked for you.
Hotels, villas and ryokans picked for your journey, not from a list.
Private guides, hard-to-get tables and moments arranged in advance.
Airport meetings, private cars, trains and ferries, all connected.
What to apply for, when and how, for Indian passport holders.
The same person from the first call to the last evening.
Round the clock. If plans change, we are already on it.
Every part costed and explained, with no hidden mark-ups.

Nikita trained as a chartered accountant and built her career in banking and consulting: long weeks, full calendars, leave that had to be earned. Like so many of us, she spent those weeks dreaming about where she would go next.
The difference is that she went. Mountain roads and island coves, great cities and quiet villages, very often on her own. Every trip taught her something about what makes a journey unforgettable, and almost none of it was in a guidebook.

Every traveller asks the same questions. Where should we stay? Which month is right? Is it safe on my own? How do I make one week feel like three?
Yumora is her answer, for everyone: a private travel studio where each journey is planned the way she plans her own. With care for the small things, respect for your time, and the quiet confidence that someone has already thought of everything.
The best journeys are not just planned. They are felt.
Every recommendation comes from experience or a trusted contact met face to face.
One place, deeply known and richly felt, rather than five countries in seven days.
Vegetarian and Jain meals, parents or toddlers in tow, a first trip abroad. Planned in from the start.
The same person carries your journey from the first message to the last evening, and is reachable while you travel.
Every enquiry is answered by a person, properly, within one working day.
Stays, transfers, guides and experiences are all confirmed before departure. You travel with everything in hand.
Two Japanese words that hold the two halves of every journey: the place you imagine, and the distance you cross to reach it.
The journey as you first picture it, before it has dates or a route. That is where every conversation begins.
The distance between here and there, crossed with care. Everything we arrange lives in that space.
Even a half-formed idea is enough to start.
